Curates Update

Monday 22nd April 2024

It was lovely to be back with you yesterday for our Sunday services, thanks so much to everyone for the prayers and well wishes whilst I was ill. I am feeling much better now.

We really enjoyed having Mark Dishley from our mission partner Christians Against Poverty join us in both services yesterday and it was a challenging reminder of the struggles that exist in our community and the part we can play in helping to make a difference. If you missed the service, you can catch up here.

This Sunday as we gather in both our services, we are thinking about Jesus, the Vine, do join us!

We are excited to host Bishop Lusa this afternoon at 3pm at St. Stephens as he visits all the Silver Award Eco churches in the diocese. St. Stephen's has a real heart for creation care and takes seriously our call as Christians to steward the world with justice and care. If you would like to pray for creation care in a more focussed way, I have attached the Prayer Resource from Eco Church (also one of our mission partners).

God bless and have a great week!
