Vicar's update 5th January
Happy New Year. I hope that you had a good Christmas and are beginning to settle into the New Year. After the excitement of the last few weeks we are returning to our usual pattern of Sunday worship but there is still much going on.
This Sunday (10th) we begin a new sermon series which will take us to Easter. It's called Just 10 and takes a fresh look at the Ten Commandments - I hope it will be helpful to us all. Also, on Sunday evening Open to God returns at 7.30pm – this term we are looking afresh at the Gifts of the Spirit.
On Friday 15th January 2pm – 5pm we are holding a Games Afternoon where you can relax, chat and have fun with board and other games. It’s open to all so feel free to bring a neighbour or friend. Turn up any time, no need to book - tea and cakes available. Queries to Jane Maffett.
The Marriage Course begins on Wednesday 20th January and is now filling up fast so if you wish to apply please complete an application form by this weekend.
We have a Women’s Breakfast on Saturday 23rd January and a Men’s Breakfast on Saturday 13th February – both at 9am.
The Children's Party and Pantomime is on Saturday 30th January.
There’s lots more going on so do take a look at the new Term Card or speak to one of the staff.
With my love
