Vicar's update 29th February

Steve4to5-3244373775-O

This week Andrew, Caroline and myself will be attending the New Wine Leadership Conference in Harrogate – please pray that we would meet God in a fresh way.  Whilst we are away the usual mid-week activities continue including our monthly Prayer Meeting on Tuesday at 8pm and the Marriage Course on Wednesday at 7.30pm.

Next Sunday (6th March) is Mothering Sunday.  Do come and join us at our 9am or 10.30am morning services.   The 10.30 All Age Service is particularly appropriate for families - bring your Mum, grandmother or others who have cared for you.  It will be followed by Cafe Extra, this month hosted by People and Planet.  Later in the day we have Evening Prayer at 6.30pm and then Open to God at 7.30pm – this week looking at the Spiritual Gift of Prophecy.

In just over two weeks we are hosting Amazing Grace.  This is the incredible true story of John Newton.  The performance is about 2 hours long including an interval – it is best suited for ages 14+.  Tickets just £7.50.  Do come and bring your wider family, neighbours and friends.

This is a final call for our Church Survey.  To those who haven’t done so yet we’d really appreciate your response..

Have a great week.
