Vicar's update 1st August           Steve4to5-3244373775-O

Over 30 of us, aged from 3 to 70, had a great time at the New Wine summer conference last week and encountered God in many different ways.  There are two weeks of New Wine (we went to the first) and main sessions are live streamed.  If you would like to get a flavour of what it’s like, or if you went and would like to experience a bit more this week go to the New Wine website where the main celebrations are broadcast each day at 9.15am and 7pm.
Mega Makers holiday club is coming soon but at the moment we have only had a few application forms.  If you would like your children to attend please send your form in as soon as possible and do recommend it to friends and neighbours – there are lots of flyers available in church or you can direct them to our website. We want to spread the good news of Jesus to families who don’t yet know him, as well as encourage children who already attend church, so please spread the word!
Our monthly prayer meeting is this Tuesday (2nd) at 8pm and we will be praying specifically for Mega Makers.  Please try and be there even if you haven’t attended before.

This coming Sunday (7th) is the first Sunday of the month with our Traditional Communion at 9am and a shorter All Age Worship at 10.30am. At both services we continue the theme of Game Changers, this week 'Enlist'.
If you are going on holiday soon my prayers are for a relaxing and renewing time away.

With my love
