Vicar's update 28th November         Steve4to5-3244373775-O

I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped with our annual Bazaar on Saturday.  We have raised around £4,000 which will be given to the Ealing Food Bank to help fund the much needed refurbishment of the warehousing to overcome the current problems caused by rodents and damp.  A particular thanks to Sue Charlton who has worked so hard in leading the Bazaar team – thank you Sue.

I hope that many of you will take part in our Bible Challenge during 2017.  We aim to mark our 150th anniversary year by encouraging people to read the whole Bible in a year.  There are some suggested ways of doing this in a leaflet available at Church.

This Sunday at 10.30am we have our monthly All Age Service with an Advent theme.  We will also be baptising Raiden Cload during the service so do come along and support the Cload family.  Also, after our 10.30am service we have our monthly Café Extra.  In the evening we have the last Open to God of 2016 and our own Sophie Johnson will be speaking.

Over the coming weeks we need some extra help.  From Sunday there will be Christmas invitations to deliver - we hope that everyone takes at least one road so that we can easily cover the whole Parish.  We’d also love you to sign up to make mince pies, serve refreshments at our Christmas services, and help with other practical tasks.

Have a good week

Steve
