Vicar's update 4th January
Happy New Year to you all.
This Sunday our services return to their normal pattern of 9am, 10.30am and 6.30pm. Sunday also marks the Epiphany (the day we recall the Magi coming to visit the infant Jesus). It is therefore an appropriate day for us to launch a year of celebrations to mark our 150th anniversary as a Christian Community. I hope that we will all be present to worship.
On Sunday evening at 6.30pm we are holding a special evening of poetry, prose and song to celebrate Epiphany - come if you can.
Looking forward, our Parenting Course begins on Wednesday 25th January and there are still places if you want to come along or know of others who might - details from Caroline Newbold (firstname.lastname@example.org).
On Saturday 28th January we are holding a Ceildih as part of our 150th celebrations. If you've not been before these are fun evenings with easy to follow dances that we can all join in as we are taught the steps by a caller. Come along and bring your friends and family - tickets now available.
Wishing you a good week.
