Vicar's update 10th JulySteve4to5-3244373775-O

I hope that you are managing to enjoy this lovely summer weather.  It’s good that church life has slowed a bit so that we can all find more space for rest.  Last night at Open to God I spoke about finding rest for our souls and if you missed it you may find my talk helpful - click here to listen.

This Sunday (16th) we will welcome the More family as they join us for the coming year.  Please try to be present to welcome Ajay, Kavita, Abhishek and Rapita so that they can start to make some new friendships.

Polar Explorers, our children’s Holiday Club takes place at the end of August.  Do book your own children in and get the word out to their friends especially those who are not members of other churches.  There are lots of leaflets that you can take to hand out or give to neighbours.  On a practical note, do you have any snow/ski/cold weather clothing in either adults and children’s sizes that we could borrow for the week  – offers to Caroline Newbold (caroline@ststephens-ealing.org) please.

We are still advertising for a Youth Worker and details are on the website.  Please get the word around and do pray that we would make a good appointment.

If you are going away this summer, do have a good time and rest well.

With my love

Steve
