My heart is full of gratitude to the Lord for his unending love and amazing compassion.
Sunday was Christ the King Sunday (before Advent) and we focussed on Jesus’ words on the Cross, “Father forgive them for they do not know what they do”.

Our Christmas Fair is on Saturday (30th November), 10.30am – 2.30pm.  
Contributions for sale (Books, Bric-a-Brac, Toys etc). Please place small items e.g. Jewellery in a box or bag to avoid loss.
Donations of prizes for the Tombola are welcome especially bottles and jars of nice stuff!
Help is still needed any time on Friday 29th or Saturday 30th Jobs for everyone!
We need lots of home-made cakes, biscuits and sweets. Please bring on Friday 29th or by 9am Saturday 30th and label with a list of ALL ingredients.
Please take a poster to display and/or fliers to give to friends and neighbours.
All the money raised will help those in need through the work of the Ealing Foodbank.

People and Planet Gathering is on this Sunday 1st Dec at 12.30pm.

also continues this Sunday evening 1st Dec at 6.30pm. 
As we start advent, we shall have an extended time of worship, prayer, waiting on the Lord to pour out his Spirit afresh on us all. 
Theme: Isaiah 40:31 “They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength”
 
For those of us in the Ealing Central and Acton Constituency there is an Election Hustings at 7.30pm on Monday 2 December at St John’s Church, Mattock Lane.  This is an opportunity to come and listen to and question our potential local MPs before the general election on December 12th.  All are welcome.
 
Looking ahead to next summer, our annual Community Fete/Fun Day returns on Sunday 5th July – do put the date in your diary.
