Vicar's update 29th MarchSteve Newbold1

It was wonderful to welcome so many back into the church building for our 9am Palm Sunday service yesterday.   As we were full, we had to close the booking list early, so do remember that if you want to come any week you need to book in good time. Also, if you are on a team (such as Welcome or Tech you still need to book a place).

We are now in Holy Week and we look forward to Easter Sunday, the greatest day in the Christian year.   We have lots of extra services as we journey with Jesus – do join in as you are able.  Do note that on Good Friday the church will be open for private prayer and silence from 10am to 12noon and at the 2pm livestream we will have some classic Good Friday hymns sung by our very own virtual choir.

Thank you to those who have donated towards our Lent appeal.  As Lent is now drawing to an end, if you are yet to do the details are here.

I pray that this week you would know the presence of Jesus as we journey together to the cross and empty tomb.

With my love and prayers for a blessed Holy Week
