Vicar's Update

Monday 13th June 2022

Good morning - I hope you are well.

Yesterday at our Sunday services Mark Tate spoke about the work of The Grove and how God has been working to bring transformation and hope.  If you missed the service or were in the children and youth groups you can catch up here.
We are very excited as our new curate Ruth Robinson (together with her family Mark, Oisin and Aoibheanna) move into the curates house (26 Drayton Gardens) on Wednesday this week.   I am so grateful to those who have, this weekend, helped get the house and garden ready and to those who have offered meals to help the Robinsons as they settle in – thank you all.  Do feel free to pop round and say hello to them from later in the week.
On Sunday 3rd July we will formerly welcome the Robinson family at our morning services and will then have a church family BBQ lunch together.  I do hope that we can all come to the lunch but we would like you to sign up on the list in church or let the Church Office know.  If you can help in any way please do contact
Two weeks later on Sunday 17th July we have a shared lunch for all church families with children aged 0-18. If that's you please do come along - there is a sign up list in church.
We are currently advertising for a new (paid) Youth Leader – please do pray that we would be successful in finding the right person to take on this important work with our young people.
Wishing you a good week - enjoy the sunshine.
With my love
