Vicar's Update

Tuesday 11th October 2022

I am grateful to Jane Morris for coming to preach on Sunday about Healing and to see so many people coming forward for anointing and/or prayer ministry.  I have heard of several stories of how God met with people – we pray for more encounters and for people to experience the presence of God in their lives. We would love to hear of any stories you have of healing of other ways that God met with you.  If you missed it you can watch the service here.  This came just a few days after our prayer ministry evening with friends from the Oak Tree Anglican Fellowship in Acton where we were encouraged as the team shared prophetic words prayed for us all.

I am grateful for all those who gave food or money to the work of the Ealing Foodbank at Harvest.  Between us we have raised over £1,500 but will leave the online giving point open for another few days in case you missed the opportunity to give – just click here.

On Monday 31st October 5-7pm we will be holding a Light Party - our annual Christian alternative to Halloween. This party is for children aged 5-11years. If your child would like to attend you will need to sign them up as spaces will be limited  An online sign up form is available here.

Then on Saturday 5th November we are having a clean up and odd job morning which we have rebranded as Sleeves Up Saturday.  This is a fun opportunity to give some much needed attention to our Church building and there will be jobs for young and older alike – do come along even if only for an hour. Please let the Churchwardens know if you can come.

Have a good week.
