Christmas Fair
Many of us are really looking forward to getting together at the Fair on Sat 26th November and raising money for The Grove Missional Community.

And we do need help. We need goods to sell – toys, books, jewellery, bric-a-brac (household goods), ‘good as new’ gifts and home-made cakes and sweets. This is not a jumble sale – so please no damaged goods or torn books. We cannot accept clothes, shoes, bags or electrical goods either. This is your opportunity to de-clutter, encourage re-use of loved but no longer needed items. Bring to church any time from Sunday 20 November. See here for more information and here for helping.

And if you would like to help us ‘mix’ the Christmas puddings sign up to join us THIS Sunday (30 Nov) from 2-3 (Queries to Caroline Jamieson).

Harvest
THANK YOU so much to all who supported our appeal for the Ealing Foodbank at Harvest.  As well as the food that was collected, £2,367 was given which will really help the many in need this autumn.

New Wine Celebration
St Paul’s Ealing are hosting a New Wine Celebration evening on Sunday 6 November at 6.30pm when Wole Agbaje will be speaking.  Wole is the leader of Imprint Church and heads up the young adult ministry for New Wine.

Advent Carol Service
St Paul’s Cathedral are again inviting us to attend their great Advent Carol Service on Saturday 26 November at 5.30 pm.  If you would like a ticket please let Steve Newbold know by 13th November.

Thanks from Gordon and Susanne Nunn
Thank you very much for the generous cheque given to us as a farewell gift. We hope to use it to purchase something(s) to remember the Parish by so initially we are going to but six fruit trees for the garden here (Apple, Pear, Cherry (x2), Marillen and Plum). We will be returning to Ealing on occasion and will try to drop in if possible. Thank you all once again, and we'll keep you updated on the tree progress and anything else we get to remember you by. Our new address is 19A The Retreat, Princes Risborough, Bucks HP27 0JG. Mobile Telephone & e-mail address remain the same. Kind regards Gordon & Susanne Nunn

Farewell
Rosemary Beardow and Philip Young will be moving from Ealing, where they have been for over 30 years,  to live in rented accommodation in Winchester from 4th November. This has all happened very quickly and it was only decided to move away from London a few weeks ago. It is something of an experiment/adventure. Our last Sunday with you will be 30th October. We will miss everyone at St.Stephen’s and hope that many of you will remain in contact . Rosemary’s email is: rbeardow@aol.com
