Fairtrade Fortnight
This Sunday we'll have an extra special Fairtrade Stall selling goods and displaying a number of products bought locally, so you'll be able to see the range of things you can find in shops near you. Bring some yourself, labelled with your name and where you bought your Fairtrade goodies, so you get them back again! Browse, buy and learn more about Fairtrade, and what a difference it makes to the growers of our favourite foods e.g. Coffee, Cocoa and Bananas. Read how Fairtrade helps them when Climate Change makes it so difficult. Let's be part of the solution and buy Fairtrade, for *If plant life stops, all life stops (*seen at Kew Gardens).

Prayer Gathering
On Tuesday 7th March we will have our monthly Prayer Gathering to pray for our church and it's continued mission.

People and Planet
On Sunday 12th March P&P is holding an in-person meeting in church, with a bring-&-share lunch at 12.30, and guest speaker Jasmina Georgovaska from Roots and Shoots. The organisation was founded by Dr. Jane Goodall as a means to encourage young people to take action in caring for the planet. Jane Goodall is famous for her pioneering work with Chimpanzees. This promises to be an inspiring talk for all who'd like to join us.

Please bring food to share for lunch. Try to use LOAF ingredients in your dish if you can (Local, Organic, Animal friendly and Fairtrade) and in tune with the subject we're suggesting dishes include roots and/or shoots! But if the challenge is too much, please still come and enjoy the meeting - but let us know, so we lay enough places! Contact Enid Barron (8997 1958) or Sue Charlton (8997 8236).

Mothering Sunday
On Sunday 19th March we will be celebrating Mothering Sunday at both 9am & 10:30am services with gifts for all mothers. Our 10:30am service will be lead by JAM so please do come along and support the children. Also between services at café time (10-10:30am) JAM will be holding a cake sale to raise funds for Ealing Soup Kitchen. If you'd like to donate cakes to the sale, they'd be most welcome. As always please do invite family and friends to celebrate with us.

Good Friday Walk of Witness
Stewards are needed for the Good Friday 7th of April Walk of Witness 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Please contact Pete Devereux at jandpdevereux@hotmail.co.uk for more information if you're available to help.

Children's Party
A big thank you to all those who helped with the Children's Party on Saturday 25th February. We welcomed 22 children from this church and the wider Ealing community. It was a great success and lots of fun was had by all.

Bible Society Resource
Following on from Caroline Newbold's talk about reading the Bible last Sunday, here is a really useful resource from the Bible Society  https://www.biblesociety.org.uk/resources/collections/new-to-bible/.  At the 9am and 10:30 services members of the congregation recommended Bible reading guides they have found useful, see these links for more information https://odb.org/  and https://bibleinoneyear.org/en/

Prayer for the Week
Almighty God,
by the prayer and discipline of Lent
may we enter into the mystery of Christ’s sufferings,
and by following in his Way
come to share in his glory;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
