Vicar's Update

Young people from JAM did a fantastic job leading our Mothering Sunday Service yesterday.  I am really grateful to all the children who took part and worked so hard to deliver a great service and to Morgen Edwards our Children’s Worker who put everything together and spoke at it.  It was also really encouraging to see so many people in church with many of us bringing family and friends along.  Thank you too to all those who donated or bought cakes for the Cake Sale which raised over £100 for the work of the Ealing Soup Kitchen.

Our Lent appeals both to raise money to train leaders in Mozambique supporting those affected by trauma and to buy Easter Eggs for the women in the Marylebone Project continue.  You can give to either appeal at any time during Lent on the website or in Church by using the Card reader or a yellow gift aid envelope. 
Holy Week and Easter are just around the corner and there are some invitation cards at church to give to family, friends and neighbours, please take some home with you.  Our services are as follows:
Palm Sunday 2nd April            Usual 9am and 10.30am services
Monday 3rd April                      8pm Night Prayer with reflection
Tuesday 4th April                      8pm Prayer Gathering and Night Prayer
Wednesday 5th April                8pm Night Prayer with reflection
Maundy Thursday 6th April  7.30pm Maundy Thursday meal and Communion (please sign up in Church)
Good Friday 7th April               9.50am Walk of Witness
                                                            2pm An hour at the Cross
Easter Day 9th April                 7am Lighting of Easter Candle and First Communion of Easter 
                                                           10.30am Whole Church Celebration
Before then our services continue as usual on Sunday (26th) at both 9am and 10.30am but don't forget that this Saturday, the clocks go forward by one hour.
