About us
At St Stephen’s we aim to create an environment where you are welcomed, accepted, loved and encouraged in your walk with God, whether you are an active Christian, returning to church after a gap away or are just exploring.
St Stephen's is a community of ordinary people living in West London. We follow Jesus Christ and seek to shape our lives so that we become more like Him. Like any family, we don't always get things right but we keep on trying. Our Sunday Services, mid week Connect groups and the many events and activities are all designed to help us encounter God and one another more deeply. We'd love to meet you and to encourage you in your own journey of faith. So give us a try and make sure you say 'hello'.
We are part of the Church of England, but welcome people from any denomination, faith or background.

When & where does the church meet?
The church meets every Sunday with services at 9:00am (traditional) and 10.30am (informal). There is a cafe between the morning services at 10:00am where everyone can catch up over fresh coffee or tea.
Don't get confused by the large old building with a spire we are in the new building on the edge of the roundabout, as you approach from St Stephen's Rd.
What about parking?
There is limited parking available on the site but there is plenty of parking on the streets nearby.
(Note on weekdays there is a Controlled Parking Zone, 9:00am-10:00am and 3:00pm-4:00pm, but check the signs before you park.)
What to expect when I visit the church?
You can expect a warm welcome, sung worship, a bible based talk and a group of friendly people gathering to learn more about God.
9.00am is our traditional service, where we use Common Worship liturgy, and sing classic hymns, accompanied by organ or piano.
10.30am is our lively informal service (with children's groups). Sung worship is a mix of contemporary and classic and is led by a band.
All the words for the service, worship songs and hymns will be on big screens.
Do ask any of our welcomers if you have any questions, and they will happily explain where everything is and what is going on.
What happens for children and young people at church?
Is the church accessible if I have additional needs?

The building is all on one floor and there are no steps.

There is an accessible toilet.

The main church has an induction loop, simply turn your hearing aid to the T position.

Liturgy and song words are on screens. We can offer large print Bibles, and can prepare large print service words with notice. Please contact the office for more information.
