For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)

You, me, them, everybody, everybody! We are all God’s workmanship created by God to do his good work! Sometimes it can be hard to feel like this is as we don’t always get things right and it’s so easy to dwell on our mistakes and form an identity out of them. But mistakes don’t change our identity and who we are. Each one of us is made in God’s image - who is a good God. That means we all have the potential for good - it’s part of our nature! Sometimes we need a change of mind set or a reminder of this truth.

As we wrestle in isolation, how we might be able to do his good works is going to look different.  Maybe as Morgen suggested yesterday we can spend a bit more time with him daily reading the Bible and talking with him? Maybe we can find ways to bless and encourage people over texts, phone calls or video calls? Or there might be something you can do practically to bless others, outside the place where you live.  Spend a little time today thinking how you might practically do this and ask God to help you make it a reality.

Prayer
Dear God, help me to see myself as you see me - as Gods handiwork! May that be the starting point of who I am and of my day. Help me to serve you in your kingdom in the way you want me to. Amen

Prayer request:
