Pray Your Part
The General Election will be a moment for the nation to ask important questions about the future. Pray Your Part is an invitation from the bishops of the Church of England to encourage prayer and participation in the life of our nation and communities, both as voters and as citizens.

This 21-day journey of prayer and reflection (from Friday, 14 June until Election Day on 4 July) is designed for use in the run-up to the UK General Election. Each day explores a different theme, with a short Bible reading, reflection and prayer for a different aspect of our common life.

Sign up for our daily election reflections via email.

TeaTimers
On Friday 28th June 2:30-4:00pm we will be joined by guest speaker, Peter Charlton who will be talking on Music Hall with the odd song included.

Big Green Week
This week 8-16th June is Big Green Week so who not try to make one or two swaps in your shopping. Fairtrade coffee, teas, chocolates, wines, beers, olive oil and flowers can be found in local stores. Lidl, Asda, Co-Op, Aldi, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose all have something to offer. Fairtrade ensures fair pay for the growers, help with adapting to climate change, and a premium for co-operatives to help with education, housing or health needs. We shall be hosting a stall with other ‘hard to find’ products for Fairtrade Fortnight in September at St Stephen's. Let us know what you’d like us to order.

Restore Nature Now
Join us on Saturday 22nd June for the Restore Nature Now Rally. A legal peaceful march from Park Lane to Downing Street with wildlife and climate groups – Arocha, RSPB, WWF, Woodland Trust, National Trust etc Nature is in Crisis and this will be an opportunity to give wildlife a voice at this critical election time. Leaving Ealing Broadway at 11am on Saturday 22nd. Let Sue Charlton know if you’re hoping to come. 07908840954 https://www.restorenaturenow.com/

The results are in! In total, St. Stephen’s has raised £2,824.79p (including gift aid) during the week of 12th – 19th May. Thanks to all who took part in any way, and for all who donated so generously. The money has been counted and banked and is already helping the people of Burundi.

Mobile Phones
Andrew Dixon, who has for many years had a connection to a hospital in Zambia, is looking for old or unused mobile phones. If you have any old phones you would consider donating please bring them into church and give them to Andrew. The phones will be wiped before being sent out.
