Christmas Fair on Sat 30th November 10.30–2.00pm
Many of us are really looking forward to getting together at our popular Christmas Fair and raising money for Ealing CAP (Christians Against Poverty). It will be similar to last year, with many of the popular stalls, Father Christmas, raffle, refreshments and light lunches. But it will only be possible if we can all join in and help out! So look out for ways you can get help or get involved in the coming weeks.  Or click here and one of us will be in touch.

And we do need goods to sell – toys, books, jewellery, bric-a-brac (household goods), ‘good as new’ gifts and home-made cakes and sweets. This is your opportunity to de-clutter and encourage re-use of loved but no longer needed items. (But this is not a jumble sale – so please no damaged goods or torn books. We cannot accept clothes, shoes, bags or electrical goods either). Pick up a leaflet for more details or click here.
Bring your contributions to church any time from Sunday 24 November.

Click here for more information or message jane@ststephens-ealing.org if you want to help. More info on our Sunday Stand from 27 October. or speak to Jane Maffett or Carmela Amodio-Johnson, this year’s organisers.

St Paul's Cathedral Advent Carol Service
If you would like to attend the Advent Carol Service at St Paul's Cathedral on Saturday 30th November at 5:30pm please email Morgen Edwards (admin@ststephens-ealing.org). Children aged 7-14 are also invited to be part of the procession of light which moves through the Cathedral as part of the processions. If your child(ren) would like to take part in this you would need to be available to take them for rehearsal at 3pm on the day of the event.

Tickets must be applied for as a church, but you may sit anywhere that is available, so if you would like to attend please email the names of those attending as soon as possible but no later than Monday 11th November. Please also specify if your child(ren) would like to take part in the procession.

Parish Prayer
This fortnight we pray  for the area to the south of our parish, where some church members live– please do pray for all who live there and for people to come to know Jesus.

Prayer for the Week
Merciful God,
teach us to be faithful in change and uncertainty,
that trusting in your word
and obeying your will
we may enter the unfailing joy of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
